2005 Campaign: Message from the Chair
What can you do to make a difference? What really matters to you These are the questions that I asked myself when I agreed to serve as the campaign chair for the 2005 campaign. I realized that I could make a difference in the lives of children, adults, and families in Midland by serving in this capacity. And now I want to ask you the same questions - how will you respond?
Through your investment in Midland and the United Way, programs receive funding to assist people in need to find help and assistance. But we don't stop there. United Way works to bring the entire community together to go behind the needs to the causes and seek viable solutions. It takes Midlanders from all sectors to accomplish these formidable tasks - the task of making Midland a better place to live for you and me!
That is why I am serving at this year's campaign chair and why I am seeking your help through an investment of time and, yes, money - for our collective future. For our parents and for our children, we need to invest in what matters - the United Way that brings the resources together to help make Midland a better place to live.
Please take part of this Campaign to allow us to focus on the bottom-line results: the lives we change and the community we shape. We know that's what matters to you. I'm counting on you!
