Research shows that many students behind in school and at risk of dropping out are faced with major loss issues at home, such as death, divorce, incarceration, substance abuse, and domestic violence.

This pilot program trains and equips teachers, staff, and volunteers to identify and work with students who are dealing with a loss or change. The end result is to develop healthy coping skills for all students thereby supporting The Whole Child.
