Promoting Health, Wellness, & Independence
- Senior Services: This program provides social, educational and recreational activities as well as social service support for senior citizens, age 60 and over, in order to maintain independence and zest for life.
- Health Services Education: This program offers informational sessions and screenings conducted by professional volunteers on topics such as cancer, heart disease, diabetes and hypertension to help improve overall well-being.
- Adult Education: This program addresses informal educational needs through developing self-esteem, confidence and competence primarily in the form of literacy, computer education and basic job training.
Assisting with Basic & Emergency Needs
- Information & Referral Midland (2-1-1): Information and Referral Midland (2-1-1 Texas Permian Basin) links individuals to appropriate resources and information in the community. It is a phone line available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in multiple languages, including TDD and TTY accessibility. By providing resource information, people can attain the assistance they need.
Strengthening & Supporting Families
- Family Services: This program provides clients with in-depth, individualized casework as well as self-help education thus empowering the client to break the cycle of poverty and achieve self-sufficiency.
