Abell-Hanger 50th Anniversary Celebration

Midland is honoring George and Gladys Abell for 50 years of giving to Midland and the Permian Basin area. Their legacy will continue to benefit this area for decades to come. Our community will recognize the Abells during the month of September through a city-wide awareness campaign. A special recognition dinner is planned for Thursday, September 16, 2004, at 6 pm, at the Midland Center.

All of the community is invited ... admission is FREE. However, seating is limited and tickets are required in order to estimate the expected attendance.

Tickets will be available in late August, but must be picked up in advance from the United Way office at 1209 W. Wall Street.

We hope you will join us for this rare opportunity to pay tribute to two people whose legacy has given so much to Midland and other communities in West Texas over the last 50 years!
