5) Community Investment Update - Find out when United Way will announce the 2007-08 Funded Programs...
The Community Investment funds allocation process has begun. On February 15, the deadline for program funding applications, United Way had received applications for 63 programs offered through 25 Program Providers, for a total amount requested in excess of $2,650,000.
From the beginning of March and throughout April, Community Investment volunteers are reviewing these applications and meeting with Program Providers to best determine how to allocate funds raised during the 2006 Campaign. Programs approved for funding and Community Investment volunteers will be honored at the Community Investment reception on May 31, 2007.
