Local Restaurants Donate a Dinner For Two to Benefit the 2002 United Way of Midland Campaign
October 16, 2002 - Midland, TX – Twenty-three Midland restaurants have donated a dinner for two to benefit United Way of Midland. Untied Way is selling $5 raffle tickets for the chance of winning all 23 dinners for two. The winning ticket will be drawn at the United Way Campaign Finale on October 29th at the Midland Center. Raffle tickets are $5 and available at the United Way of Midland office located at 1209 W. Wall; by phone at 685-7700; or on the United Way web site at www.uwmidland.org

The purpose of this raffle is to give Midland residents that aren’t campaigned through their workplace the chance to donate money to the 2002 campaign. United Way hopes to encourage these individuals to give by offering them the chance to win 23 dinners for two in return for a $5 donation.
United Way of Midland’s 2002 Campaign will end October 29, 2002. This year’s goal is $3,000,001. Any individual or company interested in giving to the campaign can make a donation by visiting our website at www.uwmidland.org; by calling the United Way Office at 685-7700; or by visiting the United Way of Midland office at 1209 W. Wall, Midland, TX 79701.
United Way of Midland assess the health and human service needs in Midland County and addresses those needs through the raising and distributing of funds to qualified 501(c)(3) health and human service programs. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
