United Way of Midland Encourages Community to Join Them in Eating JumBurrito’s Smothered Burritos
July 25, 2003 - Midland, TX – United Way of Midland board, volunteers and staff will meet to eat smothered burritos at JumBurrito on 4509 N. Midkiff on July, 31st at 11:30 am. Jose Cuevas, owner of JumBurrito, is donating a percentage of this summer’s smothered burrito sales to United Way of Midland.
“Jose Cuevas, a past Campaign Chair and selfless supporter of United Way, is giving the 2003 Campaign a jump start with his generous offer to donate a percentage of smothered burrito sales from his JumBurrito Restaurants to United Way of Midland,” said 2003 United Way of Midland Campaign Chair, Jim Byerlotzer of Key Energy, “I hope to see a lot of Midlanders enjoying these muy sabroso burritos while at the same time helping United Way of Midland.”
United Way invites the community to join them at the JumBurrito on 4509 N. Midkiff on the 31st and buy smothered burritos for lunch. KICKS will broadcast live from this location from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
