Centers For Children and Families to Perform Wizard of Oz Skit to Encourage Employee Giving
October 9, 2003 - Midland, TX – Centers For Children and Families (1104 North Big Spring) senior staff will perform a Wizard of Oz skit on Friday, October 10th at 10am as a part of their fundraising campaign for United Way.
“When local companies conduct United Way rallies and events to encourage employee giving, there is a tremendous opportunity for fun, education and team building,” said Beki Moorehead, United Way of Midland Campaign Director, “Centers is choosing to enjoy themselves and engage their coworkers while spreading the spirit of giving.”
United Way staff, supporters, and local media are invited to attend this event.
United Way of Midland assesses the health and human service needs in Midland County and addresses those needs through the raising and distributing of funds to qualified 501(c)(3) health and human service programs. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
