Burlington Resources Inc. and Halliburton to raise over $30,000 to benefit United Way of Midland at August 27th Clay Shoot Event
August 23, 2004 - Midland, TX – Burlington Resources and Halliburton are inviting the community to participate in the third annual Bustin’ Clay for United Way Sporting Clay Championship. Event date is Friday, August 27 at Windwalker Farms Sporting Clay Complex (map included in fax). Proceeds from this event benefit the United Way 2004 campaign.
Last year’s event raised over $24,000 for the 2003 United Way of Midland Campaign. This year Burlington and Halliburton plan to raise over $30,000. There will be two shooting rotations, beginning at 9 am and 12 am. Registration fee is $135 and includes shooting, lunch, mulligans and 5X7 team photo. Funds raised during the 2004 Campaign will go to approved health and human service programs. United Way of Midland is currently funding 59 local programs through 25 program providers.
