United Way of Midland to Celebrate and Announce Total Amount Raised for 2004 Campaign at Finale Event on November 3, 2004
October 27, 2004 - Midland, TX – United Way of Midland will announce the total amount raised for the 2004 campaign at the “Finish Line” campaign finale on Wednesday, November 3. Ron Mullins, 2004 Campaign Chair, will make the announcement. This event will take place downtown at the Midland Center, from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
Event sponsors are: Basic Energy Services, ChevronTexaco, Duke Energy Field Services, Halliburton, Henry Petroleum, Key Energy Services, Inc. Merrill Lynch & Co., Midland Memorial Hospital, OXY Permian Basin Ltd., Pecos Production Company, Pool Company Texas, Ltd., Pure Resources, Warren Equipment Companies, and Wells Fargo Bank N.A.
Halliburton, Weatherford, Schlumberger and Atmos will provide the lunch menu of brisket, sausage, ribs and fried fish.

Funds raised during the 2004 Campaign will go to approved health and human service programs. United Way of Midland is currently funding 59 local programs through 25 program providers. United Way of Midland assesses the health and human service needs in Midland County and addresses those needs through the raising and distributing of funds to qualified 501(c)(3) health and human service programs. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
