City of Midland Employees to Kickoff their 2007 United Way of Midland Pacesetter Campaign
August 7, 2007 - Midland, TX The City of Midland Employees are helping to get the 2007 United Way of Midland geared up for a great campaign year. Last year, city employees contributed over $17,000 for the United Way of Midland. Campaign coordinators expect to raise even more this year. A photo opportunity of city employees kicking off the campaign will be Tuesday, August 7, 2007, 1:30 p.m. at Midland City Hall (300 N. Lorraine, corner of Illinois and Lorraine).
Funds raised during the 2007 Campaign will go to approved health and human service programs. United Way of Midland is currently funding 62 local programs through 25 program providers. A listing of these programs can be found at www.uwmidland.org.
