Congressman Conaway to Welcome United Way Loaned Executives and Show Support of United Way of Midland Campaign
September 12, 2007 - Midland, TX – Congressman Mike Conaway will welcome the 2007 Loaned Executives and show his support of the United Way of Midland campaign efforts. He will be in our office Friday, September 14, 2007, 11:00 a.m. 1209 W. Wall St., (corner of Wall and F Streets). Loaned Executives are individuals that are provided or sponsored by companies and serve as full-time United Way staff for the duration of campaign. This year’s sponsors include: Chevron, EOG Resources, Henry Petroleum, Key Energy, Wells Fargo Bank, N.A. and Wells Fargo Private Client Services.
Representative Conaway is a past campaign chairman and a lifetime board member for United Way of Midland.
Funds raised during the 2007 Campaign will go to approved health and human service programs. United Way of Midland is currently funding 62 local programs through 25 program providers. A listing of these programs can be found at www.uwmidland.org.
United Way of Midland assesses the health and human service needs in Midland County and addresses those needs through the raising and distributing of funds to qualified 501(c)(3) health and human service programs. Our mission is to improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our community.
