Community Impact, Innovative Grants:
The 2024 United Way of Midland Innovative Grant application will open September 2024:
The innovative grants are for new/expanded programs or one-time projects up to $15,000, which address one of the following Community Focus Areas:
- Health
- Education
- Self-Sufficiency
Innovative Grant Eligibility Requirements for organizations/agencies:
- Offer health and human service programs in Midland, Martin, or Upton County
- Must be recognized by IRS as a civic or charitable organization
- Must be governed by a local, volunteer Board of Directors
United Way of Midland does not fund:
- Organizations that discriminate based on race, ethnicity, national origin, age, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.
- Political causes, candidates, organizations, or campaigns.

Innovative Grants awards/non-awards will be notified November-December 2023.
