Bush Convention Center - Doors Open at 6pm
Join us for the 11th Annual Power of the Purse! The event will feature eight rounds of bingo for designer purses, door prizes, raffles for a high-end bag, shopping with locally owned businesses, dinner, desserts and more! We will also honor Kelsie Rasure as our 2026 Women's United Recipient. All net proceeds from this event benefit United Way of Midland's Innovative Grants.
The Power of Your Purse:
More than just a celebration, Power of the Purse plays a vital role in supporting United Way of Midland’s community investment efforts. Proceeds from the event fund our annual Innovative Grant program. Each year, these one-time grants support local nonprofits launching or expanding programs that improve health, education, and financial stability throughout Midland.
One recent Innovative Grant recipient was 3:11 Ministries, which provided Midland College students experiencing homelessness and housing insecurity with essential dorm supplies, including bedding, hygiene items, and technology. By helping students meet their basic needs, the program creates stability and allows them to focus on their education and future success.
By attending Power of the Purse, you’re investing in innovative community solutions that help local organizations respond to critical needs and create lasting change.

- Presenting Sponsor: $10,000 (Limited to 1): Exclusive presenting sponsorship recognition, table of 10 with logo display, dinner + 20 drink tickets, 10 high end purse raffle tickets, 20 bingo cards, VIP gift bag, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
- Platinum Sponsor $5,000: Includes table of 8 with logo display, dinner + 16 drink tickets, 16 bingo cards, gift bag for each attendee, verbal recognition during event, logo recognition on all event-related materials.
