Community Engagement Funding:
Community Engagement is a strategically targeted approach that guides United Way of Midland in making meaningful and measurable improvements in the lives of people in our community. All funding awarded through the Community Engagement Funding process is provided on a one-year funding cycle. Community Engagement outlines two funding strategies designed to help transform our community:
1. Request for Proposal (RFP): This funding opportunity is for organizations applying to provide Financial Security and Youth Opportunity programs and services. This process uses a zero-based funding approach, and all requests are reviewed competitively without consideration of prior or current funding.
2. Request for Continuation of Funding (RCF): This funding opportunity is for organizations currently receiving program funding within the Healthy Community (2-Gen – Social, Health, and Well-Being) focus area. All requests are reviewed with consideration of prior and/or current funding performance. Please note: Funding allocations are not guaranteed and are subject to change based on campaign fund availability and review panel evaluations.
