Community Engagement Funding:
Community Engagement is a strategically targeted approach that guides United Way of Midland in making meaningful and measurable improvements in the lives of people in our community. All funding awarded through the Community Engagement Funding process is provided on a one-year funding cycle. Community Engagement outlines two funding strategies designed to help transform our community:
Program Funding Strategies:
-
Request for Continuation of Funding (RCF):
-
The RCF is available to organizations currently receiving Community Engagement Funding within the Healthy Community (2-Gen Social, Health, and Well-Being) focus areas.
-
All current funding recipients are required to complete the RCF. Applications are reviewed with consideration of prior and current funding levels.
-
Important: Funding allocations are not guaranteed and are subject to change based on campaign fund availability and review panel evaluations.
-
-
Request for Proposal (RFP):
-
United Way of Midland will accept new applications for programs within the Financial Security and Youth Opportunity focus areas.
-
This process uses a zero-based funding approach, and all requests are reviewed competitively without consideration of prior or current funding.
-
