Today, Morris Williams, United Way of Midland Board Chair and Deputy City Manager, joined our Project Blueprint cohort to give an inside look at how our City Council operates and why civic engagement matters. He highlighted an important fact about our community: Midland’s median age is just 32, and 1 in 3 Midlanders are under 18.
With such a young and growing population, the city is prioritizing quality-of-life improvements that reflect the needs of a younger community; everything from amenities and infrastructure to long-term planning that supports families, students, and future leaders.
We are grateful for the City’s support and excited to celebrate Project Blueprint Proclamation Day as we continue preparing emerging leaders to serve and shape Midland’s future.
