With a one-time community grant from United Way of Midland, the Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland was able to renovate a multi-purpose room that houses the music, art and tutoring programs. In order to be part of any programs at the Hispanic Cultural Center of Midland, students must maintain a 2.5 GPA. Ruby and Zarahy were the first students to register for the tutoring program, as they both struggled with math and reading. Ruby made 4 As on her last report card and Zarahy is showing great progress as well. The tutoring center has been a great addition to the organization!
